A Global Journey Towards New Beginnings

Mustafa arrived in Norway from Thailand, where he had worked as a teacher for several years. Originally from Turkey, he took the step to move to Norway with a desire to start fresh. As he says himself: "Sic Parvis Magna" – "Greatness from small beginnings." This mindset has followed Mustafa throughout his journey.

From Norwegian Language Courses to a Future in IT

When Mustafa moved to Norway, he started by learning the language. He quickly understood that language is the key to adapting to and engaging with society. Although he was already fluent in English, he discovered that communicating in Norwegian opened even more doors. After attending Norwegian courses, he met Kubilay, the founder of Daxap. "Kubilay had an idea and a vision of starting a company. He invited me to join, and from there, my journey in Norway truly began," Mustafa shares.

From People to Machines

Mustafa has a versatile background, with experience in both teaching and IT. As a teacher, he worked with people, their emotions, relationships, and behaviors. In IT, he now works with machines, where everything is about precise instructions. "With people, unexpected things can happen, but machines do exactly what they are told. If something goes wrong, you know the instruction needs to be corrected," he explains. This combination of experiences has made him a versatile team member with a unique insight into problem-solving.

Diversity as a Strength

For Mustafa, diversity is more than just different backgrounds. It is about bringing unique perspectives together to strengthen the team. "I am just one person. But if I and a colleague work together, we become 11. If a third person joins, we become 100," he says, emphasizing how powerful collaboration can be. He believes that the diversity at Daxap makes the workplace dynamic and creative, where everyone contributes their strengths.

Daxap: From Small Beginnings to Big Visions

When Mustafa joined Daxap, the company was in its startup phase with a small office and limited resources. Nevertheless, the team rallied around Kubilay's vision. "That time always reminds me of where we started and what our roots are," he says. As Head of App Development and Full-Stack Developer, Mustafa is now a key player in Daxap's growth and success.

Looking Ahead to the Future

Mustafa has always focused on continuous learning and development. "Life is a path you must walk. If you can’t run, walk. If you can’t walk, crawl. But never stand still," he says. For Mustafa, it’s about finding opportunities to grow – both personally and professionally. At Daxap, he sees endless opportunities to learn and contribute, while continuing to build bridges between people, machines, and diversity.
